Hoist systems offer more lifting capacities
Hoists Columbus McKinnon’s Yale YK and Shaw-Box SK (shown) lines of electric wire rope hoists are appropriate for a wide range of applications, including manufacturing and warehouse tasks. They are especially suited for use in areas with space limitations because they feature low-headroom trolleys.
What’s new? More lifting capacities and optional features. The company now offers the hoists in 16 load capacities ranging from 1 to 30 tons and in five different frame sizes. Previously, the hoists had three frame sizes and topped out at a lifting capacity of 10 tons. New options for customization include a limit switch for trolley travel, a towing arm, patented track wheels and Magnetek variable frequency drives (VFDs) for trolley motion. Additionally, the company now is offering crane kits that consolidate all essential components into a plug-and-play system. The kits, for hoists with lifting capacities up to 15 tons, include the hoist, trolley, end trucks, festoon, pendant and bridge panels with Magnetek VFDs.
Benefits More options for heavy loads and customization. Also, the new crane kits simplify product ordering and reduce build times.
