Diamond-coated files enable accurate filing

Diamond files Boride Engineered Abrasives’ new family of diamond-coated files includes needle files, extra-slim needle files and contact files, and is used by mold and die manufacturers. The product line also includes DH files and DHM files (shown), which are specially tapered for filing inside of slots and grooves where access with parallel files is impossible. Contact files are appropriate for applications in which accuracy is important, and also can be used in difficult-to-access areas, such as ribs and slots.

What’s new? The product line, which became available a few months ago.
