Thu, Apr 13, 2017

In an effort to promote the future of the industry, KraussMaffei Group USA, Florence, Ky., announced it has donated a 200-ton all-electric injection molding machine and LRX 150 robot to a Livonia, Mich., college that is launching a plastics technology program.
“The new equipment gives the students the opportunity to work with up-to-date technology,” said Armando Sardanopoli, an instructor at Schoolcraft College, which will begin offering two-year degrees in the field in the fall.
