3D PrinterWorks has introduced its first large-scale 3-D printer, the HT-5800. The fused-filament-fabrication printer is designed to make high-precision parts using engineering-grade materials.

HT-5800 3D PrinterWorks' new fused-filament-fabrication 3-D printer is designed to make high-precision parts using engineering-grade materials. It features a high-temperature printing surface and an insulated build chamber. Its dual extruders allow users to print complex geometries with breakaway support structures. The printer's build plates can be changed easily and allow users to select the appropriate print surface for maximum part adhesion. The user interface includes tutorials for simple machine calibration and onboard Wi-Fi that enables network file sharing and remote printing. A wheeled cabinet, two days of training and one year of unlimited support are included in the purchase price.

What's new? The printer. The first large-scale printer from 3D PrinterWorks, it has a build volume of 18 inches by 18 inches by 18 inches.
