Jet Fusion 5200 Encompassing a printer, processing station, build unit and cooling unit, HP’s new 3-D printing system is designed for large-volume manufacturing. It works with proprietary polyamides from HP; a TPU from BASF will be available by the end of the year.

What’s new? The 3-D printing system, which came out in late spring.

Benefits Industrial capabilities, and repeatable, accurate printing. Equipped to perform automated materials mixing and continuous printing, the 3-D printing system is integrated with Digital Enterprise software from Siemens, of Germany. Together, the technology can offer a faster, more cost-effective way to bring goods to market than injection molding. Like injection molding machines, it can manufacture parts with fine details and sharp edges.
