Pressure block This new component from HRSflow is for use with injection mold hot-runner systems. Affixed between the hot-runner system and the mold, it increases the clamp plate stiffness under load and at the same time prevents heat transfer from the hot-runner manifold to the clamp plate.
What's new? The device, which became available in the U.S. market in February.
Benefits The pressure block prevents plate bending, thus improving the quality of the molded parts. Also, it can be installed in a variety of positions without negatively affecting the thermal profile of the hot-runner system.
