Hot-runner specialist Mastip Technology announced that Allen Virant will be its new regional sales manager. Virant will oversee Mastip's new Cleveland office, and his responsibilities will include sales, application development and technical support in Ohio, the Detroit area, Pennsylvania and New York. David Shirley, GM of Mastip Inc., Slinger, Wis., said, "With over 40 years of plastics industry experience, Allen brings a wealth of knowledge and connections to Mastip." Virant has experience in a variety of sales and service roles, most recently as the national accounts — technical business manager for Greenchem Industries.
