Equipment distributor Alba Enterprises LLC and ROI Group, an injection molding consultancy, have merged.
Alba Enterprises, based in Torrance, Calif., distributes Babyplast micro injection molding machines and Vega hydraulic cylinders, as well as Alba-brand mold components and couplers for quick-mold-change systems. The injection molding consulting services of the former ROI Group, Montrose, Colo., have been merged into Alba. ROI Group founder Richard Oles now has a 50 percent stake in Alba and became its president and CEO on Nov. 1; co-owner John Dineen continues with Alba as CFO.
