Names to Know: Mirek Planeta, Macro Engineering and Technology

Mirek Planeta, the founder of plastic film and sheet extrusion machinery supplier Macro Engineering & Technology Inc., announced his retirement. He established the firm in 1978 and has been recognized for his creativity and contributions to Canada’s plastic industry, including his role in the invention of the dual-lip air ring. Macro is based in Mississauga, Ontario.
