Preven srl, a manufacturer of extrusion heads and molds for blow molding based in Bologna, Italy, has opened a U.S. office in Baldwinsville, N.Y.
The facility is intended to offer an easy contact to North American customers for sales and technical support, with spare parts in stock.
Preven was founded in 1968 and was the sole supplier for Automa for decades, but now offers its extrusion heads (monolayer and coex) and complete molds (EBM and ISBM) for all brands of blow molding equipment.
Steve Crawford, formerly of Currier Plastics, will serve as sales and technical manager at Preven USA.
