With more than 43 years of experience in electrical design and manufacturing of extrusion systems, he will apply his knowledge and experience to the development, design and implementation of PTi control system products. He will remain involved with ongoing projects, while serving as a mentor to the engineering group.

He has been with PTi for more than 22 years, starting as a mechanical project engineer in 2002 and serving in roles including senior project engineer, supervisor, manager and most recently director of mechanical engineering production. He has played a key role in design and co-authored several PTi patents.

Ryan Leopold has been promoted to VP-Manufacturing and will be responsible for all manufacturing, procurement and project management activities. He joined PTi in 2006 as a mechanical project engineer and worked his way up through several positions, most recently as director of manufacturing. He did design work on the original MultiNIP roll stand, HVTSE twin-screw and uCAMS projects, and has co-authored numerous PTi patents.

PTi also has launched a customer service initiative with changes to the Aftermarket Sales and Service departments. Rob Gurke is the new aftermarket sales manager, succeeding Gloria Navarro, who will take on a newly created role as aftermarket engineered solutions sales manager. She will focus on aftermarket support with engineered products and services supporting rebuilds, retrofits, upgrades and machinery modifications.
