Meech's speedier CyClean R improves film quality

Dec. 1, 2019
Product uses ionized airflows to remove contaminants from film.
CyClean-R Meech’s CyClean-R non-contact web cleaner uses positive and negative airflows to clean one or both sides of low-tension plastic webs, such as battery separator films, food and medical packaging and specialty films. The compact system includes a cleaning head, ionizing bars and an air-handling system. The film enters the system and passes through a cloud of ionized air that neutralizes static charges. Turbulent airflow releases contaminants from the surface, and the contaminants are captured in a filter. The film then exits through a second cloud of ionized air.

What’s new? Faster speeds than the company’s original CyClean product. The CyClean-R can handle webs running as fast as 2,625 feet per minute.

Benefits High-quality films. The CyClean-R eliminates the risk of surface marks and product damage due to contamination. It also is quiet, energy-efficient and compact for use in tight spaces. In addition, it doesn’t use any consumable components.
