    PO 1000 CR Specially designed in Europe, this Conextru crosshead is for use with single-screw extruders to produce PE water pressure pipes featuring a PP barrier layer.

    What’s new? The crosshead, the largest available from Conextru.

    Benefits Successful application of a PP barrier layer. Compared to other techniques, such as electrofusion or butt-welding, extrusion of the two materials — PE and PP — together produces better adhesion. Such pipes are in demand because they can be installed in a trench without sand surrounding them, which reduces installation costs.
