An internal die channel improves melt flow and provides an adjustment for deckles, while the internal rod reduces the size of the edge bead and prevents leaks.
Series 510A This extrusion coating die from Davis-Standard can handle a variety of resins, such as LDPE, PP and polylactic acid. Its short lip can be switched out with specialized lips that are optimized for specific resins. It also has a motorized internal and external deckling system, an internal die channel and an internal rod.

What’s new? The die, which Davis-Standard exhibited at K 2019. It is compatible with Davis-Standard extruders as well as those from other manufacturers.
