Sept. 4, 2019
On Sept. 3, KraussMaffei Group named Charlie Rogers the new president of Krauss-Maffei Corp. in Florence, Ky. He replaces Paul Caprio, who left the company in June. Rogers will report to KraussMaffei Group COO Michael Ruf, who served as the interim president after Caprio’s departure.

“We are pleased to have found an experienced manager in Charlie Rogers, who [will] use his expertise to expand our U.S. business," Ruf said.

Rogers has more than 20 years of industry experience, including in the European market. Rogers joins the company after more than 12 years with John Bean Technologies Corp., most recently serving as VP and GM of the food machinery and airport equipment company.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA in finance and general management from the University of Chicago. He also served in the Navy, both aboard a submarine and as an instructor at the Submarine Training Facility.
