Metro Mold & Design (MMD), a contract manufacturing partner based in Rogers, Minn., recently added four hydraulic/hybrid presses from Engel, including a 340-ton Victory press, to its shop floor. The company worked with Ilsemann Automation to integrate high-speed automation and robots into work cells with the presses. The additions are part of ongoing capital investments by MMD to meet rising demand in the consumer product sector.
