A new wrist-connected I/O coupling lets users mount the company’s grippers to cobots from major manufacturers without adding an external cable.
Wrist-connected I/O coupling Robotiq’s I/O coupling lets users mount the company’s adaptive and vacuum grippers onto cobots from major manufacturers without adding an external cable along the cobot arm. The coupling can store default settings for gripper parameters such as position, force and speed, and works with Robotiq’s 2F-85 and 2F-140 grippers.

What’s new? The I/O coupling.

Benefits Simplified setup. By avoiding the need for external cables, the coupling eliminates time lost to designing cables, managing cable routing and dealing with jammed or bent cables. The coupling can be used with cobots from Omron, TM Techman Robot and Universal Robots.
