Chinaplas Virtual Show 2022 begins

May 25, 2022
The online event continues through June 14, with 5,000 virtual displays; in-person show was canceled due to a COVID-19 surge.

Chinaplas Virtual Show 2022 went live today, an online show that was organized when the in-person event was canceled due to a resurgence of COVID-19 in the host city of Shenzhen, China. It is scheduled to run from May 25 to June 14, with more than 5,000 virtual displays and more than 4,000 plastics and rubber technology suppliers represented.

The virtual show is organized in four parts: highlights of the innovative plastics and rubber technology of the year; CPS+ eMarketplace; Hot Tech Webinars; and Business e-Match.

The CPS+ eMarketplace offers a way for buyers and exhibitors to communicate via an online chat room, with a live chat function that will be available through June 17. A translation function will help overcome language barriers between parties from different countries.

Eight webinars will feature speakers from Huawei, Johnson & Johnson Medical, and other companies, sharing their experiences on topics such as industrial design innovation, Industry 4.0 and 3D printing.

The show also features 70 sessions of Business e-Matches, which are intended to facilitate linking buyers to compatible suppliers.
