Meltio, the Spanish manufacturer of wire-laser metal deposition 3D printers, has announced partnership deals with two more U.S.-based companies.
Virginia-based Fastech is a manufacturing solutions provider, with CNC and reverse-engineering capabilities, as well as wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) 3D printing technology, and it has joined Meltio’s manufacturing partner network in the U.S.
Meltio also announced a deal that makes Birmingham, Ala.-based Prototyping Solutions, which provides 3D printing technologies and services, an authorized partner of the Spanish firm. The partnership will see Prototyping Solutions integrate Meltio's technology to produce near-net-shape metal components directly from CAD data, significantly reducing production times and costs while enhancing design flexibility and material efficiency.
Meltio said its new alliances will strengthen its presence in the U.S.
