TF and TD These new hot-runner nozzles from Thermoplay SpA, Martin, Italy, can be used with a wide range of resins to produce caps, closures and packaging. The TD nozzles come in 18mm-, 22mm- and 30mm-diameter versions that have an external bushing with a special seal that provides insulation and prevents leakage. Available with 17mm and 23mm diameters, the TF nozzles are especially suited for multicavity molds. In the U.S., they are offered through Manner.
What’s new? The nozzles, shown for the first time at K 2019. They can be used alongside, and as replacements for, the company’s FN/FT nozzles, which are also still available.
