A new self-locking wedge clamping element from the Hilma division of Roemheld applies a spring force to lock molds into injection molding machines to facilitate easier mold changes.
Self-locking wedge clamping element Designed to be mounted on injection molding machines to facilitate easier mold changes, this new device from Roemheld applies a spring force to lock molds into machines.

What’s new? The use of a spring force. Previous clamping elements from Roemheld have used hydraulics for both clamping and unclamping; this new model uses machine hydraulics only for unclamping.

Benefits Safe, self-locking, long-term clamping of molds. The device makes mold changes safer by allowing users to clamp a mold onto a press at the push of a button, rather than using screws.
