    CGTech software package calculates material behavior

    Vericut Force Calibration Using data from a dynamometer, this CGTech software module calculates characteristics of materials. The files it produces can be plugged into CGTech’s Force Optimization module, which calculates how to optimize machining of those materials to make finished parts, including molds.

    What’s new? Availability to customers. For the first time, CGTech is offering its Force Calibration software directly to outside companies.

    Benefits Data for more materials. Companies that have a dynamometer system and a unique material can use Force Calibration to create their own material files for use with Force Optimization.
