Wizard Easy Programming ABB Robotics offers its Wizard Easy Programming software as a free program to help everyone from first-time robot users to seasoned professionals quickly, easily and efficiently program robots. First released in 2020, the Wizard software uses a drag-and-drop, block-based approach to programming, and can be used in a range of applications with ABB’s collaborative robot portfolio, which includes the Yumi, Swifti and GoFa cobot families.
What’s new? Wizard 1.5.2, which introduces compatibility with six-axis industrial robots.
Benefits Ease of use. No previous programming skills are required, and users can get started within 10 minutes. Standard pre-installed blocks control actions such as robot movements, messages and signal instructions. By arranging these blocks, users can program functions as easily as putting sentences together to write a paragraph. Step-by-step instructions guide users as they fill the required parameters for each block. Wizard Easy Programming comes preinstalled on all cobots and new six-axis industrial robots powered by ABB’s OmniCore robot controller family.
