Smart Gripper Especially designed for use in automated systems that sort waste, including plastics, ZenRobotics’ Smart Gripper can be retrofitted on any Heavy Picker robot arm unit from ZenRobotics, Helsinki. It is available through the company’s U.S. distributor, Plexus Recycling Technologies.
What’s new? An upgraded version of the gripper, which debuted at Waste Expo 2019 in May.
Benefits Durability. The design has been changed to incorporate more heavy-duty components and reduce the need for maintenance. The gripper also rotates less as it operates, reducing wear and tear. Additionally, its fingers have been electroplated with zinc to resist corrosion.
