PTi sells extrusion line to Mexican firm

Sheet extrusion machinery manufacturer Processing Technologies International LLC announced the sale of an extrusion line that will be used initially to produce face shields and sneeze guards by one of Mexico’s largest suppliers of extruded sheet. The line includes a Model 85mm-52D DryerLESS extruder, G-Series GSVD661824 sheet takeoff unit and an ACW6640/2 dual position differential shaft winding system. Aurora, Ill.-based PTi, working with Mexico-based sales agent Grupo Janfrex, made the sale to Laminados Extruidos Plasticos, headquartered in Guadalajara.
