New design simplifies maintenance for Hasco nozzles

Feb. 3, 2022
New Vario Shot hot-runner nozzles are configured so that connecting cables can be located outside of the hot half in the nozzle retainer plate.

Vario Shot Hasco’s Vario Shot hot-runner nozzles are especially suited for use with engineering and filled resins.

What’s new? Models with a heating cable outlet at the middle of the nozzle, instead of near the nozzle head. This allows the nozzle’s connecting cables to be located outside of the hot half in the nozzle retainer plate. Hasco can tailor the nozzles to specific customer requirements.

Benefits Simpler maintenance. The design allows the heater to easily be replaced while on the injection molding machine, reducing downtime, especially for multicavity hot-runner molds or those with needle valves. Using the new type of nozzle eliminates the need for steps such as dismantling, removal, needle withdrawal and reassembly.
