Mitutoyo's new Rockwell hardness testers, the HR-530 and HR-530L, can measure curved surfaces, the tops of flat parts and the inside surfaces of cylindrical parts.

HR-530 series Mitutoyo's new Rockwell hardness testers, the HR-530 (shown) and HR-530L, can measure curved surfaces, the tops of flat parts and the inside surfaces of cylindrical parts. With them, users can measure the inside walls of rings without cutting the rings. The testers calculate the maximum value, minimum value, mean value and standard deviation of measurements taken on multiple points of the same part; color touch screens included with the units display graphs.

What's new? The testers, which replaced an older series a few months ago. The testers' electronics and display, including graphics, have been improved.

Benefits Versatility. The devices offer a full range of features and can perform a variety of tests, including Rockwell, Rockwell Superficial and the Light Force Brinell tests.
